Growing up, I witnessed friendships and romances tested by the transformations life demands—moving away, chasing dreams, finding new identities. Sometimes, love endured; other times, it quietly faded. I wanted to capture that delicate, often painful, yet profoundly beautiful process.

Gabriel and Laira’s story reflects the bittersweet nature of first love and the universal challenge of balancing who we are with who we are becoming. The village, the river, and the starlit confessions are pieces of my own world. The city’s neon lights and silent loneliness represent ambitions that pull us forward, often demanding sacrifices.
